Since its inception in 2004, the Seven Rivers Disaster Community Response Ministry (DCR) has been at the forefront of assisting those in need following disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and other unforeseen events. The team's efforts extend beyond the aftermath of natural disasters to also include aiding those facing financial hardships that affect their homes.

The DCR Ministry, which embodies the church's mission of renewing grace and redemptive community, has contributed over 45,000 hours of service from 2004 through 2016. Their work emphasizes that a willingness to help is the only requirement for joining their ranks.

Tom, alongside his fellow volunteers, exemplifies the essence of community service, showcasing generosity and skilled assistance. The DCR team, with open arms, continues to invite individuals eager to make a difference, proving that together, we can rebuild and restore, one act of kindness at a time.
